AHR Initiative: US-L Watershed Boundary

The boundaries of the Upper Susquehanna-Lackawanna Watershed were determined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Upon petition by the Northumberland County Commissioners and the agreement of Congressman Paul Kanjorski, the Shamokin Creek Watershed was added to the Upper Susquehanna-Lackawanna Watershed for the purposes of the American Heritage River designation. American Heritage River Nomination - Cover Map

The map is a scanned copy of the original cover map created for the American Heritage River Nomination application. The copy is reasonably good, although it lacks the clarity and crispness of the original. This is the "normal" state of affairs between projected and print media at the present time.
