AHR Initiative: US-L Watershed BoundaryThe boundaries of the Upper Susquehanna-Lackawanna Watershed were determined by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Upon petition by the Northumberland County Commissioners and the agreement of Congressman Paul Kanjorski, the Shamokin Creek Watershed was added to the Upper Susquehanna-Lackawanna Watershed for the purposes of the American Heritage River designation.
