GIS in Enrollment Management

King's has a well developed strategy for attracting and sustaining a quality student body. GIS is one of the technologies that is used in this effort. The maps below illustrate the way student and regional demographic data is presented geographically. In all, the MAP Center has generated enrollment and demographic data for eight states in the Northeastern United States.

Regional demographics

The Center has created a custom Internet map service for the Student Affairs office which allows administrators to access and display information about out of town students who reside off-campus. Similar services will be created for the Admissions Office to help track applicants to King's.
